London Legal Studies: Tips for Law Students

13 December 2021

  1. Update your study habits. There are many ways to study effectively and no one-size-fits-all method. Make sure that you’re studying in a way that works for YOU. For example, if you need the TV on, go ahead and do it. If silence is more conducive to your learning style, then make yourself comfortable at home or head down to the library.
  2. Get in the habit of reading cases. It may seem daunting but will prepare you for the challenges ahead once you are expected to read full judgments for exams.
  3. Create study timetables that allocate time for individual subjects. Make sure to factor in time for reading cases, writing practice essays, and conducting legal research. Refer to each syllabus for the required reading materials and expectations.
  4. Get extra help. As a law student, you’ll work on projects and assignments that will put your legal knowledge into real-world context. However, you may need extra help to get through
law school and pass your exams. Law tutors in London from Advanced Law Tutors can provide you with extra support when needed.
